Our Story

Who does not love cheese?


We certainly do, and being a vegan family cheese was one product that we really missed.
We could not find a plant based cheese that ticked all the boxes for us. A vegan cheese that was naturally sourced, that was made with minimal ingredients and that was healthy and tasted great.


With that - Blue Mountains Creamery was born. We are an Australian family owned business that locally produces hand crafted cashew cheese in the picturesque Blue Mountains of New South Wales, Australia.


Our vision is to spread the wholesomeness of our hand crafted cashew cheeses to
Australians and beyond.


We are still a very young and growing family owned business that works together in our creamery. From blending, to culturing and fermenting, to molding and to packing we all work together. All our cultured cashew cheeses are made and packed by myself (Maria) and my right hand man and husband Ben. With the help of our two daughters Ariyanna and Selena and my lovely parents Gladys and David.


We truly are a family owned and operated business that loves what we do.
